Jax - Spring

I'm not sure who at jax thought it would be a good idea to change the menu, change the meatpatties and change the prices so much. my wife and I ate burgers and cheeses and both had a drink, there were 44 dollars. never again for me, we can go to a decent restaurant for it, its a good burger, but not for this price. 1 week earlier I fed 3 people at hippo burger 38) for less than 2 at jax. definitiw will run out their customers with these trips, it ran me out!

I visited this restaurant last night for the first time in a few months and was quite disappointed. They have changed their menu to offer burgers in singles, doubles, triples, and so on. I called ahead to ask about a single burger and was told it was a quarter pound patty. However, when my meal arrived, the patty was flat and not as substantial as the previous 1/3 pound burger they used to serve for less money. The new burger was served on a large bun, which was overwhelming in size. I ended up cutting my burger in half and stacking the meat to make it more manageable, discarding half of the bun. I would have preferred if they simply increased the prices and kept the same 1/3 pound and 1/2 pound burgers. The only positive aspect was that the staff was very pleasant. However, I do not plan on returning as long as they continue to serve these new burgers.

Hot, juicy burger served by friendly staff and a master chef. the half of the cajun garlic parmfries were fresh and hot.

There were some recent menu changes that make the general order a little confusing, but eating was excellent. If you have ordered a double-burger, you might need a nod. (the menu I looked online had it listed as 2 patties, but there were 4 the inside business seemed pretty quiet, I am sure it was here and there picking up, but either my overall experience was pleasant.

The food was delicious, but the menu has been significantly reduced. I noticed that they now only offer around 4 burger options. My favorite, the bacon blue cheese burger, is no longer available. I would have given them a 4 star review if it was still on the menu.
