Bidra med feedbackFood and attention have always been great here. We always look forward to our weekly sushi nights here.
Place an online order and waited and waited for my food to get here. I eventually went outside to just look and the food was thrown by the door. They claim they called me but I had no missed calls and they clearly did not knock or ring the doorbell because I have four very loud very big dogs that let the whole neighborhood know once someone knocks on the door and I was not going to eat sushi that sat outside for two hours and when I called them they did nothing to make it right they pretty much told me to suck it up and I've eaten in here plenty of times in their restaurant and never had a problem however they clearly don't take their delivery as serious
I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. From someone with background in the food industry, this was by far the worst customer service I have ever come across. We have spent over a thousand dollars at this restaurant over the past two years and have never had an issue until tonight. After our order was delivered, we realized they did not send the Crab Rangoon we ordered and one of our steak hibachi dinners was raw, not rare… raw. We were not rude when we called in, we simply wanted a refund for the item we did not receive and to make them aware that their food was undercooked. The very rude manager or owner, not sure of his position as he did not introduce himself, informed us that “you Americans eat food different, you should’ve told us how you wanted your steak”… and refused to let us speak as he continued to call us liars. With no concern for the item we paid for but did not receive, he told us we can drive this dinner back to the establishment to have it recooked… as I said, we’ve ordered these same items many times over the past two years and have never come across this issue so no, it was not simply “how they cook it”. We are not ones to make a fuss or look for free food, with background in the food industry I know what it is like to be on the other side of this phone call and could never imagine speaking to customers, loyal ones at that, the way he did. Needless to say, Sakura has lost us as customers. So, if you’re looking for poorly cooked food, missing items, and poor customer service they’re your place!
Just moved in the area from Clearwater. Figured I'd stop by after a round of golf for a quick Togo dinner. I'm very very picky about my sushi. Been to many many sushi restaurants so I'm always willing to give a new place a shot. When I do go to a new place I will go with the very basic rolls spicy tuna California rolls and I'll grab one specialty roll. Spicy tuna very very fishy. This tells me the tuna isn't fresh. California roll eh they are what they are I then got to the springhill roll their recommendation. It was eh as well. Will I go back? Probably not. I'll probably drive into new port richey for Kazu's.
Great place for sushi. First place we tried after we moves to the area. Really like it.
