Great place and great prices first here but loved to be back. the service was great very nice people.

Authentic Mexican food and Margaritas at very reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service, excellent food and casual atmosphere. The dressing on the Cilantro Chicken salad was amazing! Lightly fried, completely stuffed Chicken Flautas appetizer done Mom's way was perfectly cooked and it's filling enough to have as a meal. The Pork Carnitas and Steak Tampiquena were also good! We just love this place!

Family run business which you can see in the atmosphere that may or may not be the style you are looking for. It has a welcoming environment and good food, I mean really good food. I suggest trying their grandma's encheladas they are sweet almost like a mole sauce but they are amazing. It's authentic mexican food with a few extras. Not too pricey but for the area might be higher than the norm. None the less i highly recommend checking it out for the food. If not try going on one of the event nights ie: trivia, comedy, live bands.

My partner and I live in Jamul and often drive by Valentins Bar n Grille, which is located where the former Greek Sombrero used to be. We decided to try their lobster special on a Friday night, and let me just say—it's two words: Totally delicious! While perusing the menu, we found a great selection of Mexican dishes, all sounding appealing and reasonably priced, with the highest price being just $19.99. The staff, including the bartender and waiters, were all friendly and in high spirits. When the Greek Sombrero closed, our area lost a wonderful spot for dining, drinking, and relaxing—but that's no longer the case. Valentins is a place everyone should experience; you won't be disappointed. I'm already looking forward to trying the 7 Mares soup for $16.99 or Val's special for $19.99. All in all, Valentins Bar n Grille gets my highest recommendation!
