Early Bird Breakfast Pub - Springfield

Alluring marketing. Check. Funky and cheeky menu. Check. Beautiful people. Check. Interesting drinks menu. Check. BUT! If you’re going to market yourself as a “Breakfast Pub” well you’d better deliver on the food. Not so here. Sausage patties from a box. Underdone broccoli in a specialty breakfast. Overdone biscuits and not enough sausage in an overpriced helping of biscuits and gravy. I really could (and probably should have) do far better at home. As my spouse said, “We landed at a hip bar/breakfast joint. All talk. No substance.”

Best independent breakfast joint in Springfield. By chance they also have full service bar. They also have outside seating. Omelet, crispy browns and raisin bread.

Was NOT expecting the awesome 80s and 90s rap/hip hop music. I love the atmosphere. It's a place where you wouldn't expect certain groups of ppl to ever be under the same roof. You've got grandma, church conservatives, hippies, LGBTQIA, different races, amazing food, excellent drinks (with a heavy pour thx bro) and overall just a very chill vibe.

I'm a biscuit and gravy type of person and their gravy.... Well There was hardly any sausage and it wasn't very good. Almost like a soupy gravy! If they changed the gravy and made it homemade which doesn't take long at all and is way better, I could see myself eating breakfast there multiple times a week!Food: 2/5

Absolutely amazing food. This literally is the best breakfast I've had that I can remember. Can be a little pricey, but its worth every penny. Glad I found this place on my trip from Georgia.
