Elmer's (springfield, Or)

The prices are slightly higher than some places, but the quality and portion sizes of the food definitely justify it. Our server, I believe her name was Patty, was outstanding! All the staff were friendly and accommodating, but her patience, demeanor, and efficiency were truly exceptional. I ordered the Reuben and must say it was probably the best I've ever had. My friends tried the strawberry crepes and the German pancakes, which I sampled as well, and they were just as delicious as my Reuben. The meat on my sandwich was at least an inch and a half thick! I ended up saving half for dinner. This place is definitely worth the extra few dollars compared to Denny's or Shari's.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The customer service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. I didn’t encounter any issues with my service dog being there, and the staff was very accommodating with my child. The only small hiccup was that our first waiter forgot to bring the kids' menu, but our main waiter took care of that when she arrived. My family has a long-standing recipe for German pancakes that has been passed down for generations, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that their German pancakes were pretty close to our own recipe. Overall, it was a great experience!

We waited 20 minutes to be seated and no one greeted us, 15 minutes for a server to ask us for drinks and take our order then when we got our food it was cold, none of the cooks were wearing their masks properly they were pulled below their chins, just overall not good waitressing. There were people who were eating before us who arrived 30 minutes after us. This was not the best experience I have had at this location… super disappointing i usually love coming here for breakfast but will not recommend and will not be returning!!

I like consistency and Elmer's has it. Staff was great, food was great. What more can you ask for?
