Roots Latin Grill - Springfield

Amazing! Only the plantain salad was not to our liking, but our waitress kindly informed us that it could be substituted on our next visit. It is highly recommended to make a reservation for evenings as this restaurant is very popular. The service was excellent, and the signature Brazilian drink (whose name I cannot recall) was delightful. If they have Yucca fries on the menu, be sure to try them - they are so delicious!

Excellent food and excellent service. The decor is modern and unique and the food is fresh and has so much flavor. If you’re a vegetarian, they have a ton of options!

Not sure what to rave about first!!! Alex, our waiter, was fantastic!! Very helpful with the menu, quick and courteous, and charming, too!!The food was so good. We had empanadas for an appetizer and they were so good we were afraid the main course would pale by comparison. But that was not the case. I had an Argentina chorizo type sandwich with the most delicious onion/pepper type relish. It came with steak fries that were good but the other food was so good and filling I only ate a few. Highly recommend!!!!

Loved the vibe! The food is delicious, drinks are good a bit pricey for Springfield standards and the restaurant is located in a stip mall. Small but unusually roomy? Anyway, they should have a free standing building. Finally something unique in Springfield!!

The service was excellent, but the food was terrible, garnel without being peeled and served in a sauce as from the bottle, with a spoon it was not called suppe), and mushrooms were not fresh from a dose that can be said by the cut) and were also swimming in another terrible sauce, not made to house, also came with a spoon. very disappointed by this place, will never go back and it is not representative for “Latin Food”.
