Taco Gringo - Springfield

If you've never had Taco Gringo before, you're in for a real treat. We used to go to Springfield 3-6 times per year and would go to Taco Gringo EVERY time we were in town. It's a local food that really leaves you asking for more. I give the food 5 stars. The restaraunt itself is a little outdated and the bathrooms are less than perfect but seem to be in line with what one might expect from a small family-owned business. It's not bad enough to take a star off for. P.s. if you get the nachos, you should ask for sour cream and/or extra sauce because it's amazing. And if you're not sure what to get, go for a sancho. You can pick between mild, medium and hot sauce, which is another reason to love Taco Gringo.

Fast and good food. Sundays special is very good, hard shell tacos at a great price. They do a great job. Family likes taco salad.

My order accidentally fell in the snow, but I was ready to accept it as is. However, your staff quickly offered to remake it for us. The food here is always excellent. Thank you!

The service from Lily is consistently outstanding! She's one of the best staff members and always greets everyone with a smile!

This place is exceptional! Their sauce is incredible, although the hot one isn’t quite as impressive. The American-Mexican food here is top-notch. It's a significant improvement compared to Taco Bell.
