Yamato Steak House Japan - Springfield

On two different occasions, this restaurant has treated me badly I can understand if I did something to warrant they bad customer service, the lack of controlling their emotions in front of customers The manager treats Customers the same way Maybe that’s the reason why the employees act the way they do, but I will never visit this establishment. I gave them a second chance and they showed me just how little they cared about my business. I hope helps you decide where to eat

I ordered doordash from here and the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp and was very tasty and cooked very well. However the sushi was nearly flavorless and spongey.. i ordered the pick 3 sushi special of spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail rolls. These rolls were FULL of cruchies and also even mixed into the fish!! Crunchies are a garnish and i didnt order a crunchy roll for any of them. I ate 4 pieces before i realized what they did to save up on product and didnt eat another bite and these photos got me a refund on doordash. Id come for the hibachi only if i were any of you but definitely not the sushi!!! Even wegmans sushi is better! Possibly even gas station sushi might make you sick but would have more flavor than this!

I didn’t get any photos before I dug in, but the sushi here is amazing! Very fresh, I did the eel avocado, spicy salmon, and Philly roll, and all had super fresh avocado, amazing sauces, and an unbeatable price! Sooooo good!

I went there for lunch one and another time for dinner. Their lunch specials are nice and come with a large portion of meat and rice.Their dinner menu is great. I went with 4 other guys and most of us ordered sushi. The prices were reasonable and the sushi was great.They were pretty quick with lunch, but it took them a long time to prepare our dinner even when it didn't appear that busy.I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Service is decent, food very nominal, I’m from SanFrancisco…I had the best ever. I couldn’t believe I would pay $15 for 5 pieces of sushimi for lunch…really? That’s ridiculous. I walked out. Don’t ever cone here, unless you have tons of Money. Service…they are not friendly at all. The place is dark and dingy, not welcoming one bit. I hate this place and don’t recommend it to anyone.
