Gustoso - Spruce Pine

Very nice, very clean, very good. We recently had our first visit there, and will be going back.

This establishment is so awesome that we went 2 nights in a row during our short visit to Spruce Pine. Excellent menu with superb cooking and presentation, great staff and wonderful atmosphere. BeeSting cake alone will make this place famous soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Outstanding food. The owner came over to talk to us and it was absolutely delightful. Shame more people don't come here. Ya'll are missing out!!!!

Hidden gem in Spruce Pine! First, the service was fantastic! Our waitress was helpful and attentive, the executive chef and owner, Mark, stopped by to introduce himself and gave additional insight to the dishes, and the bartender was also very helpful as she recommended wine pairings for our dishes. I got the special of the day which was a seafood caprese, it was amazing! I'm from Florida so my seafood standards are pretty high and this definitely surpassed that standard. Mark mentioned he's from Massachusetts so I knew I could trust the seafood. My husband got the Jägerschnitzel and really enjoyed it plus he had some of my dish because it was so good too! We also got the wine flight with our meal and finished it all off with the dessert special of the day: German apple cake. It was light, fluffy and not too sweet aka perfect!

I had pasta fagioli soup (more like a stew), gerkinsalat (cucumber salad), and jagerschnitzel. all was excellent. we were too full for dessert, but the chef also prepares desserts.
