Bidra med feedbackThis place isn 't what I 'd call amazing. I mean that in the sense that it isn 't a unforgettable and mind shattering experience. It is, however, good where it counts, in the manner it counts. The staff was all exceptionally friendly. The beer, while not something I 'm going to immediately go home and search out, was not only drinkable, but delightful. The pizza was at the right price, and with a good, thick cheese that actually might be somewhat unforgettable, as it was different than what I was used to. They are very dog friendly outside, and very accommodating, and the service was prompt and accurate. If I had any complaints at all, it would be one of simple preference. The pepperoni 's are a bit big. In the sense that it 's not a pepperoni, it 's a space station. With that being said, that 's a simple matter of preference. A long story short, if you want pizza and beer, you can 't go wrong with this place. I 'd go back any time, though I don 't often find myself in the area.
I'll admit I was a little skeptical about a local pizza and microbrewery but decided to give this place a try today. All I have to say about my experience was that I am no longer skeptical. The staff was extremely polite, helpful and over all a joy. The beer was great and now I am home eating one fantastic calzone! Dry County is where it's at when it comes to food in Spruce Pine!
Service is great. Ingredients are locally sourced. You are going to get a fresh made pie that is tasty. Is it authentic NY pizza, no. This is not NY. You will get a fresh and hot pizza that is a million times better than as any chain out there!
Great pizzas with local ingredients and great micro-brews on tap every day. They have amazing local and fresh ingredients that taste great. I recommend the white pie base or pesto. Get it to eat in or grab some beer for the road. Trivia night is fun too, but people there are smart and make you feel like a half-wit, so try and cheat their pants off.
This might be Spruce Pine's biggest surprise! This is pizza of the calibre you expect to find in NYC or Chicago. Probably the best pepperoni and sausage I've ever had on a pizza. Incredible! And then there's the beer! If Juicy Fruit is on the menu buy a keg!
