Crème De La Cocoa - St. Augustine

Called on a Thursday to order a carrot cake for Saturday but they were no longer taking orders. I was told they would have a variety of cakes available on the shelves on Saturday if I just come by, so that's what I did. Saturday morning, less than anhour after opening, they had two cakes on the shelf. I got the Chocolate Chocolate cake. I love chocolate cake. Unfortunately,this cake is mostly frosting, very little cake. In fact, there appears to be more frosting than cake. It looked fantastic onthe outside, I just wish it had more cake. Taste was ok, very rich. The cake was $45. Probably won't purchase from here again.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband, and it was fantastic. I emailed them while they were closed thinking I wouldn't get a response, and they replied right away. On the day of pick up, there was a big rainstorm, and we were no longer coming to St.Augustine that day and were planning on coming a few days later. I called to see if they could freeze it for me until I couldcome, and they did one better. They asked me what day I was coming and made me a new cake instead!!! It was delicious andbeautiful. So perfect. Love this place so much. When I went to pick up the cake, they had almond croissants. I got a few, andmy husband said they were better than the ones he used to get in New Orleans. NOTHING is better than something from New Orleansto him. Thank you so much, Creme de la Cocoa!

We married on 2.9.22 at Treasury in Plaza and we had the team of Creme de la Cocoa to make our wedding desserts. From the moment we had our cake tasting with Nils in the bakery, we knew we were in good hands. Our cake was absolutely stunning with sugar flowers cascade the sides of the cake. They even made our 2 dogs and cats of sugar to put on the cake! Our cake flavors were their Florida natives for an animal, and then they created an amazing amaretto crunch cake for our second animal! The team also surprised my husband with his own Florida Native Bräutigam cake he absolutely loved! We also had small cups of their Southern Belle pecan pie, as well as an AMAZING churro cheese cake. They also made small peanut butter and jelly cookies to enjoy sandwiches and bourbon balls with St. Augustine distillery Bourbon for our guests. No detail went unnoticed and people still talk about our desserts almost a month later! It is now a must to visit the Cream de la Cocoa bakery when we are in town! Thanks again to Bailey, Nils and the entire Creme de la Cocoa Team for our wedding Desserts so amazing!

I mean, I said more? This cake was just stunning! Even before I saw the cake on my wedding day, employees came to me from the event and told me how amazing it looked. Not only was it amazing, but it tasted even better! I had guests who asked me to leave the cake the next day! I can't recommend enough for your wedding cake! All about my experience with them was perfect. From the amazing customer support from Bailey to the cooking advice, even with the delivery everything was top notch!

Cream de la Cocoa is what your taste buds are dreams! Everything they do is phenomenal! Only beyond words! Our cake was exactly what we had hoped for! Every animal was a different taste and everyone was just as delicious as the next! You will not be disappointed! 10/10 would recommend!
