Lazy Lizard - St. Catharines

First of all, the waitresses at this restaurant need to brush up on their basic manners. They are incredibly rude and only attentive to male customers. The large redhead server should be let go. The food was mediocre at best, so unappetizing that even raccoons would turn up their noses. The owner needs to be more present at the restaurant.

All good food. Excellent service. Wings could have been saucier. Nachos was taken out a little early. Cheese wasn't at the Nacho melting point. It was a man size part safe. I ate on the very nice terrace. Sunny and 85 degrees, with a cold keith.... Only these aforementioned tweaks would have brought this into very good to excellent areas.

Atmosphere is what you would expect from a bar and barbecue. Many sports on TV and very pleasant staff. I had a chicken club sandwich that was amazing: But I had Pommes with my order and they had a lot too much salt on them that I couldn't even taste the potato fries myself. My Bf had the Hangover Burger with a poutine and enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience at Lazy Lizzard Cheers.

I don't come here often, but I have been here enough times. They have a good selection of beer and live bands on weekends, which makes it a fun spot to hang out with friends. I ordered wings, while my friend got a burger. Our server was excellent and that was the main reason we decided to stay. Unfortunately, it took an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The burger was overcooked and the fries were strange tasting. The wings I ordered were also not great - they were tough and too big. I understand that some places believe bigger is better when it comes to chicken wings, but I prefer Bugsys for my wings. I'll stick to getting beer here, but I'll go elsewhere for my wings.

At the Lazy Lizard, there is no room for laziness. The staff is outstanding and the food is delicious. We tried the homemade burgers, fries, fried chicken sandwich, and fish tacos, all of which were fantastic. This restaurant is popular among locals, which speaks to its quality. If you find yourself in St. Catherine's, be sure to stop by for a meal.
