Global Brew Tap House - St. Charles

I was somewhat disappointed with this restaurant. I stopped by for lunch and was looking forward to enjoying a nice cold beer with my meal. According to Google and their door, they open at 1 PM on Fridays. I arrived a little after 1 PM only to find them still closed, with no one inside. I called but received no answer. I decided to wait and see if someone would show up. Just as I was about to leave to find a drink elsewhere, someone finally arrived and unlocked the doors. I ended up waiting nearly half an hour before they opened, and by then, my food was cold. It wasn't the best experience, and they are a bit pricey too. On the bright side, the beer was good, which is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. I don't think I'll be returning.

I'm not a beer drinker, but I visited this place for a group event and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through some options and helping me discover two beers that I absolutely loved. The outdoor seating area, complete with a fireplace, was a lovely touch. Although they don't serve food, they provide a catalog of recommended nearby restaurants for delivery, which worked perfectly for me.

We've been visiting Global Brew for years and somehow never got around to writing a review. Anyway, we’ve consistently received fantastic service. The staff is always knowledgeable about the latest and best beers. The owners are incredibly friendly and often stop by to share their expertise and occasionally offer samples. What can I say? We absolutely love this place, and we'll likely be back again on Thursday! A+!

I absolutely loved this place! We've driven by so many times and were never quite sure what it was or when it was open. On Thursday, we noticed a lot of cars parked outside, so we decided to stop in. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, and they had a fantastic selection of local brews. While they don’t serve food, we saw some customers bringing in pizza. That night, there was a great band that really entertained us. Now that we have a better understanding of what this place is all about, we'll definitely be coming back more often!

We truly appreciate that this place is dog-friendly, but that's really the main reason we come here. The prices for beer are very high, and you can't know the total until you pay. It's not uncommon for a beer to cost over $10. We recommend checking out one of the many local breweries or grabbing some craft beers elsewhere.
