Dalles House Lounge - St Croix Falls

Highly recommend this space, it is full of history with the original restaurant existing since the 1800s. The atmosphere is full of character and feels very art deco. Service was exceptional and we got to meet the chef who was an absolute delight. We had their Sunday brunch and it was amazing. So many options from scrambled eggs, build your own salad, chicken, mashed potatoes (which were my favorite, so good), and omg the desserts! Definitely check them out!

We usually stop for dinner here a few times a year! A hidden gem for foodies with a lovely patio and friendly service.

My wife and I so wanted to really like Dalles House, so hear me out. Came for dinner after a long road trip. The restaurant is SUPER cool. Unfortunately, we ordered the prime rib and had to ask after 45 minutes if it was coming. Our server hadn't even checked on us or on the food until we asked (actually, we had asked a different server because we hadn't seen ours in a while). When the prime rib came, the plate and food were about room temp. We were too hungry to send it back, so we just ate it, paid, and left. On the plus side, the soup and popovers with the cherry almond butter were awesome. We'd love to give it a second chance someday.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the Pumpkin Marscapone Ravioli! They also have some very nice cocktails too go with dinner. Did not try dessert but wish I'd had room for it! Try patio seating on a nice day, really great vibes out there. Hope I get the chance to come back and try more!

Best service I’ve experienced in a long time from the greeter to host to servers and beyond I had the prime rib it was some of the best I’ve had in a long time and the POPOVERS wow almost as big as my head lol and I have a big head but the taste was amazing
