Lily's Victorian Tearooms - St Helens

I wanted lily to go to the afternoon. we sat fast and the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. the tee was made with loose leaf tea and served in a huge teekanne. the afternoon came in 2 sharing, first a selection of sandwiches, domestic chips and hot nibbles, then a wonderful selection of cakes. we couldn't eat anything, but what had left was very friendly for us to take home. it was a beautiful, lovely tee room and although it was very busy, the employees were attentive. they would be highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Have been a few times I highly recommend to die the steak pea with chips. chilli con carne, brains pie and homemade burgers also in view. my 8 months old son, a massive part of the brains, and wept when I took him away before he exploded. beautiful authentic environment and pleasant personal

The staff is very polite and helpful. tee came in a massive pot and it was loose tee that was beautiful. we had breakfast, that was very nice, good quality the sausage tasted delicious. I think this is the best caffe in the city.

Went with my daughter today for the first time and it won't be the last! We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. Would highly recommend but take a plastic box because they give you so much lovely food that you cannot eat it all, they did wrap it in tin foil but got a bit crushed on the way home but still tasted delicious. 5*

Just love this tea rooms. They are so accommodating ten of us booked for a Christmas meal some wanted the set meal some didn't but nothing was to much for them the food was delicious and service was great .
