Meada's Garden - St. John

Despite OpenTable twice confirming this reservation, when we arrived, it was closed. We were told they haven’t been open for weeks. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else

Unfortunately I cannot say anything as Open Table allowed me to book a night at this restaurant while vacationing with my family at St. John. My wife and I made a reservation for a date night just the two of us without the kids and when we showed the restaurant was closed! We checked their webpage and Facebook page and there was nothing posted about being closed. In fact, it remained closed the rest of our time on island. How does Meada's Garden not post their closing on their webpages and block reservations from occurring on open Table??? Poor customer service and social media management. Reservations are almost a MUST while on St. John. Luckily my wife and I were able to get lucky and were seated at another restaurant saving our date night. We will not be visiting Meada's anytime soon.

We arrived and were promptly seated. Menus were given, water and bread delivered to the table. We ordered the crab cakes and the sun dried tomato caprese salad. Both were delicious. For our entree we both had the Sea Bass with seaweed risotto. Again excellent choice. Came to table hot and again was very delicious. For dessert we split the chocolate lava cake. Excellent newer restaurant on St John, Cruz Bay. Well worth it.

Service was very slow Sushi was great Other entrees not so much

Nicole and Marielle (I hope I spelled that right) were amazing and made our night so fun! One of our favorite spots in St. John
