Scamper's Snack - St. John's

I've been here since I was a kid. Best hot turkey sandwich in town. The staff was always very nice and on a first name basis with us. I love this place

It's a lively place! As good as I remember when I was a child! The service was really fast and easy and nothing was forgotten! For such a lively place, everything was PERFECT!

Decent portions, I got the big 2 pieces of fish and chips. It was very tasty and filled, definitely would return here.

First time there. Was a little confused with the ordering system, until, the lady behind the counter told us to take a seat. Had fries, dressing, and gravy. 2 of us ordered the regular and the large. Did not really see a difference between the order for the difference in price. Only real difference was the plate. 1 was round the other oval. I will say it was delicious.

From Winnipeg visiting St.John for the first time. This restaurant has lots of good reviews and is within walking distance to our hotel, so we tried it out on our first night when we arrived town. Gave it a 5 stars. Our friends came to St. Johns a day after us and we took them out to this restaurant tonight. Food still good, hot and fair portion. Service good too. The only problem was two of us had hot water with lemon and they charged us. We didn't mind paying but the attitude of the cashier was very bad. So instead of leaving a reasonable tips, we left none. First time we were told to pay for hot water with lemon.
