Sea Hags - St. Pete Beach

A few years ago, Sea Hags was excellent. However, our last visit in March 2022 was a disappointment. The place appeared dirty, and the food was poor. We won't be returning!

The service was good, and the food was okay. However, what really concerns me is how filthy and neglected this place is. The owners have never put any money back into the business for the sake of their customers.

I walked in, took a look around, and then walked right out. The place was filled with smoke, both inside and out. The small outdoor deck didn’t help much either. The staff wasn’t friendly at all. The name of the restaurant is quite fitting.

Came with family. Was told of a 20 minute wait to seat but not an 1 1/2 hour wait for food that was practically inedible. My Grouper Dockside is served to me raw.... After an hour and a half wait. Service was great and accommodating besides the fact that they couldn't give us reasons as to why we had to wait. Wouldn't recommend coming or even standing to close. The restaurant might make you feel bad by proximity.

This location is convenient for beach goers but the original has the ambiance and atmosphere you want and need. Food is good, but it's very cafeteria like to me and I prefer the wharf-y themed at the original
