Grumpy Gringo - St. Petersburg

Wow, what an incredible experience! The food was amazing, especially the queso, which was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was fantastic as well. I devoured that burrito like it was nothing! Definitely deserves a 5-star rating!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is excellent. I tried the steak street taco, and it was delicious. My husband shared his chicken chimichanga with me, and it was fantastic. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating on either side of the bar area. It was relatively clean, and as someone who is quite particular, I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

The restaurant was incredibly busy, so I anticipated a great meal, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. My burrito lacked flavor, and when I ordered churros, the ones I received were disappointing. I can't understand how they looked at those churros and thought it was acceptable to serve them. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

It's a tiny place tucked away but busy and serves great food. There are a fleet of people working behind the counter and they are quick with the order. We had the guac and chips, and the guac was great. Chips were fine. Then had street tacos, California burrito, and taco salad which were all good. The salsas that you can serve yourself are also good, though they were running low on almost all of them. The tables were a little dirty and sticky but otherwise a good dinner.

No frills taco spot. Everything was really tasty and priced well. We were looking for a fast lunch and this hit the spot. I ordered direct from the menu but the lady behind the register looked at me like I had two heads. Overall I would definitely go back. Had a couple hard shell tacos, Barria queso tacos, and a tostada. Chips were fresh and tasty and a good variety of sauces.
