Bidra med feedbackI could overlook the peeling paint on the balcony railings and the litter in the parking lot, but the service was unacceptable. The staff at the front desk were unfriendly and did not greet us or provide information about breakfast times like other Marriott properties we have stayed at. Our key cards were not programmed properly, leading to a frustrating experience trying to access our room. The front desk clerk seemed annoyed when we asked for pool towels during her lunch break. The hotel did not offer any perks for our elite Marriott status, and there were issues with the pool towel return system. The room amenities were not properly maintained, with empty or malfunctioning dispensers in the bathroom. The free breakfast was disappointing, with food not held at proper temperatures and broken toasters. I would recommend choosing a different Marriott brand in Daytona, as this property fell short in many areas.
Two years ago, we visited this restaurant and had a great time. We loved the beautiful views from our room and the peaceful beach. We decided to stay at this restaurant again this year for one reason: Yuri. We adore the bartender we met, he is so friendly, makes delicious drinks, and it's always nice to see his familiar face after dinner or when we stop by for a drink after spending time at the beach. He is definitely the restaurant's hidden treasure, don't forget to try one of his margaritas!
The hotel is nice and in a good location, but my recent experience has been disappointing. Despite being a Titanium Elite member, the hotel did not prioritize my requests. I asked for a 2:00 check-in time but was repeatedly told the room was not ready, even after several follow-ups. The manager blamed staff delays for the inconvenience. As a loyal Titanium member with Marriott for years, I expected better treatment. It seems that Titanium status no longer holds much value. Suite Night awards are often denied, leading me to question my loyalty to Marriott. The Elite Guest program has been ruined by Marriott, and I understand why other Elite members are looking elsewhere.
I have not been greated or not greated ever. The front desk people make us feel we were interrupting them. No thanks for being an elite member not even an acknowledgement we were there for about 10 minutes. Every day we passed by the front desk and not a smile or good morning.., , nothing. When I tried to leave a review on Marriott website it said you can only leave a review if you are invited to do so.
Here now. Bonvoy Titanium elite. Not so good: It is unclean and rundown. It was very nice the last time we stayed. Still heavily damaged on beach acces area and the pool is filled with orange sand and dirt. Shower does not drain. The sofa cushions are badly hand-stitched where previously ripped and are all stained and threadbare in places. Base of lamp is covered in rust. Doors /handles are dirty. Good: The woman who was working in the bar today was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful! A gem! Also, one of the hospitality crew on our floor today assisted us with need for towels and TP. She was very pleasant and appreciated her help!
