Bidra med feedbackVisited on recommendation of lady in village store to try the oatcakes. We both had cheese and they were yummy and good fuel for a yomp up The Roaches. Both ladies friendly, chatty welcoming. We took a piece of toffee tiffin away to enjoy later in the day. PS: Bought 3 pkts of oatcakes to take home to share with friends family!
The restaurant provided a Covid-safe environment with a warm welcome. We had a great time enjoying delicious afternoon coffee and cakes during a local stroll.
My wife and I went to this cozy cafe for lunch today and ended up ordering a large breakfast each. Despite the small size of the cafe, it was quite busy and they were also offering takeaway food. Two friendly ladies were running the place efficiently, catering to numerous orders. The breakfast we ordered was a great value, including 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, oat cake, 2 rounds of toast, and a mug of tea. The food was cooked perfectly and presented nicely, and it tasted delicious. We saw other customers' meals and they all looked appetizing. The breakfast was so filling that we couldn't eat anything else, so we got a scone and cake to go, which we enjoyed later in the day. The prices were very reasonable, £7 for the large breakfast and £5 for the small. We are staying nearby and plan to return next week. I highly recommend visiting this cafe if you are in the Buxton area, as the food is tasty and great value for money.
We stopped in for a meal before our 3.5-hour drive back home. I ordered the small breakfast, while my husband went for the large veggie option. The food was incredibly delicious! The refillable coffee was also a highlight. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you to the staff for a great experience!
Relax inside with a tea and scone. Outside if the weather is good. The staff were friendly. I wish I had sampled the breakfast which looked very good.
