Bidra med feedbackWe went to this restaurant on October 31st after seeing it while driving past the day before on our way to Alton Towers. Our daughter has celiac disease and we had trouble finding a place to eat, but when we checked out their menu, we saw they had many gluten-free options so we decided to give it a try for brunch. We were very pleased with our experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the surroundings were beautiful. We wish we had more time to come back. It might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance as we were lucky to get a table.
We reserved a table at Country Kitchen for an 85th birthday celebration. The food was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices at a great value. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. However, the highlight of the dessert menu was the chocolate cake with mint Cauldron Custard, which we found absolutely delicious. It was one of the best desserts we've had in a while. A huge thank you to everyone at Country Kitchen for providing us with a wonderful birthday lunch.
Me and my husband came to cottage kitchen for a toasted sandwich and they even had a vegan afternoon tea! It was lovely and the staff were really nice too. What a lovely place to eat and drink at especially after a long autumn walk.
Would like to say a huge thank you to the chefs who consistently create the most delicious full English breakfast in the Peak District! Coffee and the rest of the menu is great too. The serving staff are lovely, very attentive and uphold very high standards of tidiness, even when the café is packed. Ambience and comfort fab too. Cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. Thank you all.
Been coming here for a few months now when catching up with family and friends. Cant fault anything, food, service and surroundings always spot on. We had afternoon tea this time with sides of chips and onion rings and wow it was amazing. Keep up the good work all of you its always a pleasure
