Mario The Baker - Stamford

Stamford tradition with quality food and friendly service. Grew up on their eggplant parms and Gorgonzola salads. Delicious, unpretentious, and well priced. Perfect lunch or dinner for your casual meals.

Found this place by chance on the way home from the Boston Marathon. Great food and friendly service. Wish we had Mario The Baker in NC.

Friendly customer service over the phone and when I went to pick up the pizza.  The pizza overall had a good taste and was decently priced.  We'll be back to try additional menu items.

It's very possible the pizza here is the best in all of CT, and quite possibly the Tri State. I try to base my decisions on posting about food with consistency. I've had Mario's well over a dozen times at this point and it is always 100% consistent. The sauce is absolutely amazing. When we order pizza my 5 year old ONLY wants Mario's. I'm not knocking other local pizza joints like Riko's or Bronx House because they are solid but doesn't come close to Mario's.
