Chez Papa Restaurant - Stanstead

I have only ever eaten here once and I will admit the food wasn't terrible....However... If you expect to be treated as an actual human being I would suggest you dine else where. The last time I ordered in we decided to call Papa's. Before calling I checked their Facebook page to see hours and daily specials. Their hours did and still do state that they are open on Saturdays until 7pm. I called to make my order and they answered the phone saying Sorry we aren't open on Saturday afternoons, this was at about 2pm, five hours before they were slated to close. When I tried asking why their hours stated that they were open until 7 they actually hung up on me, no chance for questions or even a "thank you , goodbye" . I find they show acomplete disrespect for their clientele and that it would probably be in their best interest to follow some sort of business/ general etiquette course. I will not be ordering from there again, there are more than a few restaurants in the same town and I feel I may as well take my business where it might just be appreciated....

A simple place for a simple breakfast. Nothing gourmet but good home cooked wholesome food! Great for breakfast!! The sausage are yummy!

The service and food used to be good, but we experienced a substantial deterioration of both over the course of 2013. The last time we went, there were only two tables occupied, including ours. It took almost thirty minutes to get our eggs, bacon and toast breakfast. The eggs were very greasy and not cooked to our liking, the bacon was soggy, and the fries were very greasy. Considering that the owner was cooking and serving, it seemed that her passion is no longer in the business. We will definitely not return.

This Hollywood restaurant was a fantastic find! The service was welcoming, and both the margaritas and food were delicious. I would definitely return without hesitation.

This relaxed establishment has the potential to become a popular spot for locals, but may leave tourists feeling slightly underwhelmed.
