Gigi's Southern Table - State College

Had a wonderful dinner at gigi. the personal was polite and they have welcomed our to be at a place where we can meet without much distraction. we ordered the calamari as our starters and it was extremely good! I ordered the steak caesar salad as my main dish and I would say that they cooked the steak as I demanded. the aromas of steaks, salad, where on point and enjoyable to the last bite. Many thanks to gigis South Table to improve our meeting with their warm welcome and fantastic eating.

I always have a delicious meal at Gigi's. Even on busy nights when the staff is short, they keep our drinks filled and ensure we have everything we need. Everything we've eaten there has tasted like a delightful Sunday dinner straight from the South.

What a great restaurant. the industrial decor meets the southern charm. Not only is the restaurant beautiful and decorated for christmas, but the food was from this world. the chipotle deviled eggs were amazing as the fried green tomaten. I had the black and garnel carbonara, which was nothing short of exquisite. my wife had the garnel and grits that is always a favorite. the service was amazing, our server was attentive and hard working. will definitely break in again, it would be a crime, not. we are!

Caroline was an excellent server! While the food could definitely use some improvements, we had a wonderful time and the atmosphere was delightful. It’s the best option we could find around State College! The highlight of our meal was the Blood Orange Sorbet for dessert at the end of brunch—it was simply amazing!

This place to me seems like a hidden gem. The food was so excellent and fresh and hot. I had the Shrimp Carbonara and it was really done nicely with sausage instead of bacon with peas with just a nice cheese flavored sauce. My son loved the Cajun Chicken and his mother had the Ahi Tacos. We had French onion soup and they have a really special Gumbo that was just so refreshing. They have outside dining, a bar inside, in addition to fancy inside dining on nice padded chairs that were like home furniture. The staff were so friendly too. The bar will get busy during sports games.
