Bidra med feedbackWe went to the Bistro many times, booked a reservation each time as gets booked up fast. Brunch and dinner were awesome, recommend the fish dishes the most, especially sea bass and lobster pasta. Advertised as casual/fine dining but think more on the finer side.
The view of lake Tahoe is spectacular, the food was , And afterwards we sat on the beach and relaxed. We had the beach to ourselves a rain cloud looked menacing and everyone else left. The only downside was the prices of the food and drinks. But that's Tahoe...
Once you staying at Edgewood , you don’t need to go and look for a nice dinner place. This restaurant is really good. Kids friendly. Make sure you reserve your table in advance
Everything was amazing. From the atmosphere, to the service, drink selection and dessert. We had the bone marrow, lamb chops, clam chowder...all delicious but the highlight for me was the beautiful and unique ChiMango Tres Leches dessert. It was a work of art and a unique take on a classic Mexican dessert. Mind blown.
The property Edgewood itself is absolutely stunning. Add the mountain modern architecture of the resort itself and you are absolutely in the tranquility that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. The bistro in Edgewood is no exception. If you are looking for a delightful culinary experience, don't look further. This is one of the more expensive restaurants, but I think it is worth it. We got the sea-red ahi to start both the Alaska-Holibut and the lobster Tagliatelle. All three were cooked to perfection and delicious. Intestine I say the Tagliatelle was the best pasta I've ever had. Edgewood is a must when you visit Lake Tahoe. Enjoy!
