The Cove - Steady Brook

I had dinner at this restaurant yesterday while on a staycation in the countryside. The restaurant was quite crowded and our server apologized for the wait, but it was definitely worth it. The chicken pesto sandwich was incredibly delicious and my daughters also enjoyed their meals. We had a great time dining here.

My wife and I had a late lunch here yesterday. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my wife had the beef rice bowl. Both were absolutley delicious! I also had the cheese cake with chocolate drizzle which was real, fresh and very reasonable priced. The restaurant atmosphere is very eye catching with a beautiful sea kayak hanging from the ceiling, nice furniture, and curved walls loaded with art. Overall the simplicity of the tasteful design impressed me very much. So much so I can see another lunch visit as we head East again today. Kudos to the business owner!

The pizza and salad were not worth the price in this restaurant. The salad was a small portion and soggy, while the pizza was undercooked and lacking flavor. One section of the pizza had no cheese or toppings, only sauce and dough.

A night in at the Marble resort had us ordering pizza from the Cove. The menu and selections are great they have all the ingredients that you would want. We tried a Margarita and a customized pizza. Both were amazing, but the Margarita was the star. I can't wait to get back and do another night in with their fantastic pizza. However, the Cove has now merged with Madison's, so it's all one big restaurant now for those heading that way.
