Draper Arms Stevenage

I saw good reviews on the website, but the pictures made the place look more appealing than it actually is. The atmosphere is basic pub style, and the menu was so sticky that we had to peel it apart — not a pleasant experience. I ordered a lukewarm lemonade without ice, and my meal was overcooked and drenched in a sauce that tasted like it came straight out of a microwave. It felt more like something reheated in a bag than a freshly prepared dish. We were hungry, and it filled a gap, but that’s about the best thing I can say. It wasn’t too expensive, but I wouldn’t return.
