Salmon Leap - Stirling

This restaurant is truly amazing, with delicious food that I would recommend to everyone. Take the time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and savor some high-quality dishes.

After a tiring drive, we were looking for a place to relax with a coffee and a scone while bringing along our friendly but energetic Springer Spaniel. The staff at this restaurant were unfazed and quickly set us up in a comfortable seating area. They brought out delicious scones with cream and jam, and even gave our dog plenty of attention. We came back later for tea, and the warm chocolate brownie sundae we ordered was absolutely fantastic.

The dinner food served here is exceptional. The menu changes monthly depending on what products are in season/available to locally source. Portion sizes are just right, and the dishes are packed with flavour and well presented. Main meals are fairly priced too considering they are fresh and homemade. Wish I had taken pictures to show how great this meal was. I will definitely return!

Lovely freshly prepared meal in a warm environment. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for me and my meal arrived quickly despite how busy the place was.

My experience with the afternoon tea at this restaurant was the worst I've ever had, which was especially disappointing as we were celebrating Father's Day. Despite booking in advance, the staff seemed unprepared and the table setting was subpar, with cheap crockery and cutlery. The sandwiches were basic, the scones were dry, and the pastries seemed leftover from breakfast. Cakes were not served and there were cleanliness issues with other tables and the restroom. Overall, the drop in quality from a previous visit was surprising and I would not come back again.
