Café Colette - Stockholm

Staff incredibly friendly in a cozy bistro like restaurant. Food was above average and especially the mushrooms. Also sold wine in halfglasses, good on a weekday. Will be back

In the heart of beautiful Stockholm, when looking for a nice place to spend an evening, we came across Cafe Colette. few minutes after we got our table, after i had an opportunity to look around, you sense that this place as ambiance. something that you feel in the air. I talked to guy in my neighbor table and learned that most of the people are regular customers, many of them knowing each other. Journalists, media people, artists etc. And the food.... very very tasty with excellent friendly service. It very much reminded me of Parisian Cafe Charlot at La Mare.

This bistro is a pearl, located in an area where restaurants are plentiful and locals love to come. Many of the staff are French speaking and as soon as you walk in you stand with one foot in France. The food is great, you can have something simple like an omelette, or go all in with oysters, snails and steak tartare. The daily special is great value. In the summer season you can sit outside as you would in Paris with little round marble tables. This place is also great if you want to come for a glass of wine.

Cafe Colette is always great. Nothing fancy about this restaurant except the food which is always good. It’s comfortable, intimate and Kalle has got to be one of the best waiters in town! We go there often with friends or alone and we are never disappointed.

Detta var ett svårt beslut, och jag vet att ägaren uppskattar detta; tartare de Bœuf är den bästa jag har ätit hittills i Stockholm, till och med bättre än Bistrot Paname, och jag trodde att jag hade hittat den! Tack för det! Jag kan knappt vänta med att komma tillbaka.
