Lokes - Stockholm

Great experience. Getting into the bar and see people enjoying their food with their dogs was amazing. Real swedish food, great meatballs and everything we had was really taste and abundant. Service helpfull and thye pay attention that everything is going good. A must if you visit the city or if you live here.

To find dog friendly restaurants in Stockholm may be difficult. Lokes Bar is a budget prized local place where both you and your dog are welcome. Food is not fancy but well prepared with a leaning to traditional Swedish dishes. While you chose a beer from the tap or bottle, your dog is served a bowl of cold water. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Many of the guests seem to be regulars from the surrounding Södermalm.

My guess is that only a few of its patrons would take a detour to dine at Lokes, but if you are in the area and enjoy simple but quality meat dishes, this little restaurant on Bondegatan is definitely worth a try. The ambience is laid back and welcoming with dogs and people young and old sharing the small dining room. My recommendation is to not venture far from the signature meat dishes burgers and meatballs. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done for a reasonable price.

Visited here a couple of times, the staff are nice and friendly, drinks prices are reasonable. Meatballs were very good and a good portion size. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in Stockholm.

This local pub welcomed us, kids, grandma and our dog in the best of ways. We had delicious food and great wine from the menu. Our dog was most welcome and was even served ox and pork filet! We would highly recommend this place for a night out with the family.
