Chung Ying - Stockton-on-Tees

I ordered chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken balls from this Chinese takeaway. The chicken was chunky and rubbery, the curry was extremely thick, and the onions were like wedges - completely disgusting with no flavor. The sweet and sour chicken balls were also rubbery and I found a hair in the second one, almost making me sick. This place is overpriced, the cooking is a health risk, and I strongly advise staying away from it. It should be shut down.

This restaurant review is extremely negative. The food was awful, with dry rice, craggy noodles, cardboard-like prawn toast, stale prawn crackers, and very peppery beef in black bean sauce. The chips were also disappointing, only half a bag worth. Overall, a waste of £33.

First time since new ownership. Not disappointed. Quick delivery on a weekend and food was lovely. Will be ordering again!

Been going 45 years but never again. English menu sausages were in a Chinese sauce rather than gravy. Chicken and mushroom dish changed food had little no taste. Chips were very dry. Prawn crackers soft.

Never knew until mam told me about this place yrs ago . . 9mg the chips epic . Ta . When you get chips from other places yuck . Here as may go cold as eating...epic yum best ever .
