The Drop In Cafe - Stockton-on-Tees

This restaurant review could be rewritten as: "For only £5.50, it is well worth it. The five vegetables were all well cooked and there was a choice of meats available. My only complaint is that the mashed potatoes were a bit bland, but still edible. I will definitely be using this restaurant again, as it offers great value."

I ordered a bacon sandwich from this restaurant. The bun fell apart, it had cheap margarine, was overly greasy, and only had one slice of bacon. I would not recommend this place.

Mark, the owner, always brings us delicious bacon sandwiches to work and is a great storyteller. I have no doubt that one day he will own multiple cafes and give Mr. McDonald a run for his money.

Another place I always visit when I'm home. It went down hill a bit when the new owners first took over but they've got it sussed now and it's nice again. Gravy and chips from here is spot on.
