Stopped here unplanned on the way back from Alton Towers on a very rainy day. Lovely pub. Great menu for all the family and the chicken ham and leek pie was epic. Only issue I had is only one of the fires was lit! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Had a lovely lunch here yesterday. We had a very warm welcome. Camembert and the chutney was amazing. Taste hot dog and followed up with yummy bread and butter pudding. Really happy we found this pub. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
