This Waffle House is amazing! The staff is friendly and attentive, which really enhances the overall experience. My meal was delicious; it had been quite some time since I last dined there. A huge thank you to the entire team for their warmth and professionalism! I will certainly come back whenever I'm in the area!
Yesterday, we arrived around 11 AM and found the place busy, so we had to wait for a table. There were three people behind us in line, and three more parties came in after we were seated. The restaurant was packed, but the servers and cooks were doing an outstanding job. However, at 11:30 AM, the manager—I'm assuming it was the manager—announced to the staff that after noon, they would not be taking any more sit-down customers. This left me puzzled. They had the business, the staff was willing and ready to work, and they were handling the rush beautifully. It simply doesn’t make sense to stop taking sit-down customers at noon on a Saturday. I find it hard to believe that Waffle House is struggling to the point where they can't operate normally. How do you expect your servers to earn tips if you switch to strictly takeout, especially when it's busy and the crowd shows no signs of letting up? This kind of decision could drive away good staff.
