The food and service are great. The decor is very old fashioned country. It could use a little sprucing up for my taste. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I had a very pleasant evening here. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing and restaurants in a historic home made it special. The staff was helpful and very nice. We had the shrimp cocktail, which was very fresh and large. I had the roasted duck, which was very delicious and very well prepared. I highly recommend coming here for a nice romantic dinner.

It was absolutely beautiful, the staff perfectly attentive but not hovering, the food prepared and presented deliciously. I have passed The Country House many many times over the years but this was my first time dining there. I honestly could not ask for any improvement or change. I had duck, which was a risk of a choice, but it was delicious. My friend had chicken francese, a common dish, and she enjoyed it as well. Go, don't wait decades like I did.
