The Butchery - STOWE

Our place for the best local meat round, either just stop or order something special before time, so we have exactly what we need for a bigger meal and the friendly staff preps it with care. They can also not go wrong with their rotating in-house sausages. Hubby also loves their fresh seafood. Her lunch sandwiches are also delicious (Hello, VT turkey!

The Butcher shop is excellent, but don't sleep on their lunch menu. The Raclette Burger and the Vermont Philly were some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Will absolutely be back.

I can only vouch for the few lunch sandwiches I tried, but they were easily some of the best sandwiched I've EVER had. Vermont pulled pork and Butchery cheesesteak. You probably can't go wrong with any of the options though, or anything in this shop for that matter.

Been going here for a while, always has the best fish and meat around, plus their sandwiches are very tasty. The employees are friendly and helpful. No complaints

During our recent vacation in Stowe, we decided to check out the sandwiches at this place. The meat displayed in the cases looked so delicious that we ended up buying a cooler and stopping by again on our way home. We picked up two ribeyes and two NY strip steaks, and they were among the best steaks we've ever tasted! They were nice and thick with incredible flavor. The only downside is that the butcher shop is over two hours away from where we live!
