Bubba's Anytime Cafe In Strang

The restaurant has a charmingly kitschy Coca-Cola theme. The owner was very friendly. However, the food is pretty basic, resembling what you'd find in a Sam's Club frozen section. I ordered a steak Philly sandwich, but it lacked seasoning. My daughter's grilled cheese was just as you'd expect. It's inexpensive, and while it's not gourmet, it's definitely a better option than a fast food chain. One thing to note: it’s cash only, and there are no signs anywhere to indicate this, so it was a bit of a surprise at checkout.

This is truly the best small-town experience! The burgers, prime rib, buffet, wings, and everything else are fantastic. If you're lucky, you might even get to try their homemade Kolaches! They also offer catering with delicious food at great prices. The Coca-Cola theme is really neat! Let's support these wonderful small-town businesses!

One of my favorite aspects of cross-country travel is the chance to stop in small towns and meet the local people who live and work there, providing for travelers like my family and me. They’re genuinely nice folks—I haven't met anyone unpleasant yet. I did notice they had posted hours of operation on the door, which dashed my assumption that Bubba’s Anytime was a 24-hour diner. However, I’m really glad we were able to stop in as we passed through town. Before long, the diner was behind us, but it left us with great memories and a warm place in our hearts. Who knows, I might find another reason to drive through Strang again in the future!

We always enjoy stopping here when we travel to and from Kansas to visit family. We’re consistently satisfied with whatever we order. The service is always friendly. While waiting for our food, we love looking at all the fascinating decor throughout the restaurant, which includes many Coca-Cola collectibles and other antiques. It’s a fantastic place to grab a meal!

During my drive to a wedding in Lincoln, I stopped at Bubba's Anytime in Strang and was pleasantly surprised by how busy it was. We called in our order since we were running late. My patty melt was fantastic, packed with cheese and served on delightful bread. My husband and child opted for cheeseburgers, which were quite good. The spiral fries were just average. We also added a couple of sodas, a homemade cherry kolache, and a homemade cinnamon roll. The waitress was excellent. But when the bill arrived, I was blown away—only $13.13! I couldn't believe it: sandwiches for three, sodas, fries, and dessert—all for that price! I thought she might have missed something on the bill, but nope! This place is amazing!
