Bidra med feedbackWhen looking in a new city/country for a real cappuccino, Flat White or Café Latte I have learned that if there are many photos of a pretty cup of coffee on the Yelp list chances are very good, it is the best in the city. Fortunately Café Brestelles didn't disappoint me. Friendly workers, talented barista and charming business with tables outside. They also offer a small breakfast menu above.
It's worth it! Coffee, ice tea, juice and coffee drinks. High-quality food. The homemade granola has a beautiful blend of dried fruits and nuts. The peanuts really increase the taste. The granola was on my yogurt, which was also delicious. Le Continental comes with baguette, ham, cheese and egg. Le Granola comes with baguette, butter, jam, apple juice, homemade granola/yogurt and a hot drink. The cappuccino is here! The baguette was soft, but sturdy, probably the best I had so far. $40 for 4 adults. Small entrance, but has 3 levels of the dining area. Bathroom on the top level not for older people as a door opens to the steep and narrow staircase. Three bistro tables outside (2 chairs each) in July. Bon appetit!
The Cafe Bretelles is an elegant coffee shop and a great place to take a break while walking through Strasbourg and Petite France. All Baristas here are friendly and knowledgeable. They serve their own batch, typical espresso-based drinks as well as coffee roast with a v60 or aero press. It was a surprise to find here in Strasbourg a coffee shop that takes coffee seriously. From what I can say, all the beans they use seem to be just a source. They also serve simple pastries and cakes. If tea is your thing, they also have a small selection of tea on their menu. Other professionals: plentiful seating for customers; the shop looks small at first glance, but is actually two stories free WiFi toilets for guests
Nice place to come for coffee and breakfast. They had exactly what we were looking for caffeine and a real European breakfast maker. We sat out at a little table that was nice to watch people. We're definitely coming back.
Fabulous coffee shop with easy brunch and great coffee (moxka) and oatmilk for a dairy free option. Lovely service too!
