Saffron - Stroud

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is the best I have ever tasted, and the service was excellent - very polite and prompt. The restaurant itself is beautiful, housed in a quirky building with charming character. I don't understand why some people have left negative comments, as I could not find anything bad about this place. I highly recommend it.

We have been getting takeaway from Saffron for as long as it’s been open but over the last few months the food has significantly deteriorated so much so the same dishes we’ve been having for years are now unrecognisable. Last night was the final straw,...order takeaway to collect, had to wait an additional on top of the mins indicated when ordering. Finally got it home to find one of the mains was missing, returned to the restaurant, no apology and was then presented with a dish that when we got it home again bore no resemblance of the meal ordered. This has unfortunately become a common occurrence so we’ll be steering clear. Which is very sad.

This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out and dining at. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. They also offer takeaway options.

Visited The Saffron last night with an old friend for a curry and a catch up and this place is amazing. Food was star and well priced for how good the quality was. This is my new favourite restaurant in Bristol. Staff were super...friendly from the start and its like a little cottage, with a really friendly atmosphere. Beer was cold and quickly replaced, Food came quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend

Absolutely shocking service!! Ordered for drlivery, told it would be minutes almost minutes later it still hasnt arrived so called to be told driver left minutes ago mins in transition) which i was also not impressed by! Finally arrived hours...later and order was wrong so sent back as driver wanted to take back to then send correct order obviously i requested an immediate refund!! Would not recommend especially as customer service disgusting. Told me they had stops and we should have been but also that other people want delivery as if wed called after mins. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!
