Cairo - Sudbury

Bought a shawarma for lunch one day last week. It was excellent! Great portion for your $. All of the flavours together, I have never ate something like that. Must love garlic to eat this!

It's delicious, clean and cheap I like it, I consider it the best place of chawarmma in Sudbury.

A co-worker introduced me to Shawarma last year. All I can say is WOW! I'm in love. Cairo's is definitely the go-to place for a fast and tasty lunch. I would consider this to be a hidden gem in Sudbury. Go try it out, you will not be disappointed!

Yummy, lots of garlic. Not your average Sudbury dish! Nice atmosphere, great fast service, try it out!

$35 for 2 sandwiches that were mostly filled with pre-packed lettuce, turnips, red onions that were way to big of chucks..very offensive after taste in your mouth, tomatoes pre-packaged and their garlic sauce.1 small barely-warm lentil soup that we wanted to share ( almost boarder line cold)! and 1 very small side order of garlic potatoes that we again wanted to share...I'm sure not even a whole potato was used for our serving.We weren't able to identify the flavor of our chicken sandwich...was overwhelmed with iceburg lettuce and flat bread.Nor really the turnip.Just a huge portion of garlic...trying to chew gum right now to get rid of the overpowering garlic in my mouth. I asked for a glass of water and the owner seemed offended that I didn't buy water. I waited and eventually had to ask for it...he said for me to grab a cup from the coffee station and he grabbed it from me and turned the sink on ( same sink as the bathroom one, but in the kitchen area...that has only warming station crockpots and 1 panini grill and a typical subway sandwich station. I asked if there was ice...none...didn't even fill my cup full. I asked where the kitchen was to cook the chicken, they said in the back. Hmmm..Seemed like a leftover kinda meal in our opinion.I know I'm totally going against everyone's rave reviews but not sure what all the hype is about. Wouldn't come back twice, nor recommend. Sorry P.S And not sure why my cardboard soup bowl that was served to me is dirty.
