Xtreme Pizza - Sudbury

This place is run by a pretty neat guy. Very talkative and insightful. The pizzas are well made and done with a little difference to make them not the typical pizza fare. A good spot to grab a quick bite that won't leave you regretting the stop.

My partner and I are new to the area and trying out different local pizza joints. Over the weekend we ordered an XL pizza with onion, green peppers and extra mozza. Delivery took about 40-45 mins on a Saturday at suppertime, and the pizza was quite yummy! They make a nice crust which borders on thick, but it was very tasty!

Nice spot in the West End. Owner is very friendly and talkative. I have been going here on and off for a few years, it's a good spot for inexpensive and tasty food. This time I had the Donair; it was decent but I think I'll stick to the Italian foods going forward. The interior is small and the decor is simple, but the food is what stands out. Every time I'm pleased with my meal.

Delicious food. My wife and I were scouring the usual pizza franchise sites and although we like them, wanted something a little more unique. I saw a couple of posts from other users about the different specialty pizzas from Extreme Pizza (now Pizza One) and the owner was kind of enough to go through the different specialty and gourmet pizzas over the phone. We chose the Inferno and Perogy Pizzas and had an order of baked wings.Upon picking our food up, the takeout pizza parlour had a retro feel to it - very nice atmosphere. The owner gave us a "Virgin discount," it being our first visit to the business. Very nice guy as was the woman behind the register.The Inferno speaks true to its name. It really kicks your butt and I was surprised only by one thing. that I lived to submit this review! A mix of banana and Jalapeno peppers, spicy marinara sauce, salami and spices. I smelled the heat driving home. It was that hot! My wife liked the first bite and when she tried to eat a piece of her own, she only got through one more bite! I survived through 2 1/2 pieces.The Perogy pizza was also good according to my wife - I don't like ranch sauce so didn't try it but she enjoyed it.Now for the best part. The chicken wings. We had the mild and they were exactly as I remembered them back in my early twenties during many social nights out. Absolutely delicious - I haven't had wings that good since. Meaty and saucy. We definitely will be back. Definitely recommend it. The prices weren't too bad - for two small Gourmet pizzas, a pound of wings and two pops, it came up to under $30.
