Panda Garden Chinese - Sugar Land

I have been a loyal customer of Panda Garden for over 20 years, and it pains me to say that the food is no longer what it used to be. My visits have become less frequent over the years due to inconsistent flavors, but after my most recent experience, I won't be returning to this location on Eldridge. I ordered the Spicy and Tangy Chicken and the Chicken with Garlic Sauce, and both dishes were equally bland with dry meat. The sauce in the Chicken with Garlic Sauce was extremely watery. I requested a hot sauce, which I was willing to pay for, but it was also flavorless. Both dishes tasted remarkably similar, differing only in the type of chewy chicken and lacking in vegetables. Overall, it was not worth it!

I recently tried the shrimp fried rice, and I'm absolutely hooked! The wonton soup is also excellent, and the spring rolls are perfectly crispy. The lunch special is very reasonably priced, and it’s something I always order when I'm at work.

Panda Garden strikes a perfect balance between cost, timing, and flavor. I usually place my order over the phone, and they estimate a wait time of 10-15 minutes, but my food is always ready much sooner. The crab puffs are amazing, and the staff is very friendly.

We love panda garden. They?re always friendly, fast, and thier food is delicious. Never disappoints weather it?s take out dine in or delivery. Always a good option!

My wife and I ate here on tuesday night for the first time. It was around 5pm or so, walked in and chose our own table. Very nice, modern establishment. My wife had the chicken vegetable dish w/white rice, of which, she changed to brown sauce on request and I had the chicken lo mein. Both dishes were superb, and it's hard to impress the wife. The best surprise was when I asked for hot mustard to go with the pork egg rolls. If you are a fan, and or connoisseur, of hot mustard...this was the best I have ever had!! Prepared delicately in house. I wish I remember our servers name, shame on me, but he said he makes the mustard himself. Burn hit the chest, then sinus. Service was impeccable! Delicious all around meal! Will certainly be back, especially for the lunch menu offered everyday except for sunday when they are closed. We can undoubtedly understand how they've been in business for the last 30 years!! This is now our fav spot for chinese in all of Houston!
