I wouldn't even trust her with cleaning duties. I have decided that I will never return to the Golden Chick on Broad Street in Sumter, not even if the food were free. I’m done with this place, and I will ensure my family stays away as well.
The customer service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The drive-thru staff are consistently unfriendly. Additionally, it seems that the system is down three to four days a week, which affects their ability to make sales. When you pull up to the window and they inform you that the system is down, they often start laughing, raising questions about whether it’s genuinely malfunctioning or if they simply don’t want to work. Owners, if you want your business to thrive in Sumter, it would be wise to look into these issues. The staff's rudeness is quite concerning.
This place is terrible! The woman who worked the drive-thru on Monday night around 9:30 PM clearly has no training at all. I requested that my rolls not be mashed, and I could hear her sucking her teeth through the intercom. She had a negative attitude and was very rude, demonstrating extremely poor customer service. I'm sure you're losing customers, and it's not just because of the pandemic.
