Bidra med feedbackI've visited several Ruby Tuesday locations across the country, and the food quality is consistently reliable. However, this location deserves a 5-star rating for its exceptional service. I was warmly welcomed by both the manager and my waitress, who went out of their way to help me find an outlet so I could get some work done on my laptop. They frequently checked in to see how I was doing, making me feel like a regular at a restaurant I had never been to before. Keep up the great work!
I also requested hot sauce when our food arrived, but I had to ask for it again. When it finally came, the hot sauce was spoiled, with a strong vinegar taste and smell, which was disappointing. Additionally, I ordered a beer that had too much foam on top. When I asked them to top it off, they seemed to complain about it. I really hope they can improve these aspects, as I truly want to enjoy my meals here. It would be great to see more restaurants like this in Sumter!
We ordered takeout for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised. Although I'm not a huge fan of Ruby Tuesday, we had a gift card, so I decided to give it another chance. We tried the new Tot Totchos as an appetizer, along with a Triple Prime Colossal Burger and a regular Triple Prime Burger. The appetizer was fantastic—it's hard to go wrong with tots covered in delicious toppings! The burgers were quite good; while they weren't the best I've ever had, the quality of the meat was impressive, and the patties were thick. Since we ordered to go, I can't comment on the service, but the staff was clear about where to pick up my food. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised after initially being doubtful due to prior negative reviews.
Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food, and I'm not quite sure what caused the delay. Our waiter was friendly and pleasant, but the food didn't seem fresh enough to warrant such a long wait. The potato was undercooked, and the rest of the dishes were just mediocre. I'm really disappointed, and given tonight's experience, I can't see myself coming back.
UPDATE: this is so disappointing, Ruby Tuesday used to be one of my favorites(below is my old review . We went tonight. It took 2 hours for us to order, eat appetizer and meal. The waiters were complaining about how tired they were, that they didn't feel well, etc. one even complained about how busy they were (there was us and one other table with people at it... out of maybe 10? while we were there 2 different couples came in and were seated and left 20 minutes or so later when they were not helped at all. Our waitress Sam was more than awesome. Unfortunately she was pretty much doing everyone's jobs so she was spread very thin. Food tasted fine once it did come but I was worried about eating anything from the kitchen by the time the food did come and was not able to really enjoy my food. In conclusion... Sam deserves a raise (luckily it sounds like she is moving on in 3 days . If she had not been working tonight this place would have to be closed. We won't be returning. I guess this explains why the wait at Chili's, Logan's, and PO House were all 30 mins plus and this place had barely any customers. Had an excellent meal (honey bourbon chicken , mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese . It was excellent and the mashed potatoes were the best restaurant potatoes. Service was quick, salad bar was really good, our server dewayn was quick and very helpful. We will be going back and asking for him.
