Mellow Mushroom St. Louis

They have great pizzas. It is a fun place to go with your family or friends. It has a great atmosphere and is perfect for a family or a night out for drinks.

I’ve generally had good experiences here but tonight was a major disappointment. I ordered at 5:45 for delivery at 7:30. At 6:45, I get notified that Mellow Mushroom has cancelled my order. Isn’t that just great. Let’s wait an hour and then decide “we can’t fulfill your order.” How about not taking my order in the first place? MM has been one of our go-to places for years. I’m very disappointed right now.If you’re dining in, I’m sure you’ll be fine but I’d recommend finding somewhere else for delivery.They have my PayPal payment. We’ll see if that gets refunded or if they try to keep the money.

Got to restaurant a little after 7. Very few people in restaurant and had to wait at front for about 5 minutes. Upon host coming over seemed very uninterested and put out as didn’t really say a word. Server seemed more concern about counting her tips and cleaning tables rather than attending to customers. Given salad with no utensils. Given food with no napkins. Not very attentive to our needs. Virtually everything was fine with the exception for the freezer burned tater tots. Took a bit of time being there is virtually no one in restaurant. Normally would recommend, but tonight just wasn’t there night. Will reconsider before spending that type of money for a subpar experience.

Great pizza and lovely atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with their holy shiitake pizza and mushroom soup!

Had great service to start, then our server used disappeared had asked another server to get our check.
