Bidra med feedbackFood came out quickly and was tasty. Great service from David. We sat outdoors and were comfortable. A little noisy inside because they had live music.
Good food and good drinks. We walked in here for the first time and were greeted so kindly by the owner. He spent time talking with us and told us upfront that they had the best food. I brought my sister in law from overseas, and she was definitely blown away.
Great little Mexican food restaurant it's not quite hole in the wall
Growing up in TX since the late 60's, I remember the first fajita I ever had; it wasn't at a restaurant but rather a Latino festival in Waco. Ever since, I've been a huge fan. I remember when my buddies mocked the Gringos for speaking of chicken fajitas. Faja is belt in Spanish; fajita is a traditional term for skirt steak. I came to Cruzteca for my inaugural visit expressly for the dish. As far as I'm concerned, it comes down to freshness of uncooked ingredients, quality of beef, recipe for beans, pico, and meat. Home-run across the board. They serve cheese queso flameada style--big fan. Staff is great: Wayne welcomed and hosted me. Ski was super helpful and friendly. She's front of house and has been here 5 years. Huge testimony to the quality of ownership and management. Highly recommended.
As a Houstonian, the food was fine but not for the price. Also, I would have expected chips as well as rice and beans to be standard. I should also add they don’t split check (not a huge issue tho)
