Golden Beach Tavern - Sunshine Coast

I had previously visited this venue on several occasions over the years but my last one left a lasting impression. The service was appalling, the staff didn't know what they were doing and in general seemed completely overwhelmed with simple tasks. The milkshakes I ordered my young children were sour and off. The food was average at best, and disappointing given the prices that were charged. The meals ordered ranged from pizza's, oysters, pasta, burgers and steaks. All average. I wouldn't recommend going to this venue, when there is so many other venue's to choose from in Caloundra

Had the pleasure of staying over the weekend. It's great to be able to just come and go. The accommodation was within walking distance to multiple places, not that you needed to go elsewhere. The chef Wendy was very accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious, my friends also raved about the food. Even the snacks in the sports bar were great. The atmosphere was great and Pete behind the bar was great. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

My husband recommended we go to Golden Beach Tavern for lunch. The staff were kind and friendly. We had the special 'chicken karaage bao buns ' they were delicious. Meals are above average size and lovely. Definitely will not disappoint!!
