Anchor - Superior

A must in Superior. Great mushroom Swiss burgers and excellent fresh cut french fries, crispy and hot. Anchor never disappoints! The place is classic, rife with antiques fitting every good flea market. Love the atmosphere and the waiting staff. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a big sandwich and a cold drink.

Fantastic burgers! This place was amazing. Our taxi driver told us that this was one of the best burgers in Duluth to try it out. My son and I got burgers and pommes and ate every piece of food they put in front of us. French frits were not good, but the meat, bread and quality of preparation were all fantastic The only negative, small inconvenience, is that they only take cash and the ATMs in the bar was punished. The few minutes weren't even a problem.

Unique, many odds n ends, history, great food, fun games (pac man eskey Kong machine, slot machines), good music (digital jukebox), social atmosphere no reservations (seat itself) and great prices (menu price includes tax). Check the photo of the back of the menu with helpful information to know. Fresh French fries. Building is small, but it's worth waiting.

Still the best burger in the region, at the best price. Great hand cut fries, efficient friendly service. Worth the trip across the bridge if you're in Duluth.
