Surfers Cafe Inc - Supply

1st time visit. Came for lunch after being at beach visiting.. You pay up front at counter then seat your self. We ordered 3 seafood platters for lunch. Shrimp did have very strong chlorine taste. Flounder was very salty( over seasoned) and very mushyand oily! Fries were frozen crinkle fries, a little mushy not crispy. Hush puppies were a BIG disappointment. Very over done inthe fryer! I bit into one and couldn't even chew it, (it was like a plastic chew ball toy). We were never checked on by anyonethe entire time so I didn't say anything. Overall, food Portion was large though. Ranch is good. For $60 bucks for 3 people, Ijust expected better.

Placed an order for take out. Arrived on time but had to wait because the orders placed, take out order pick up and payments are all handled by one person who was in training. After a 5 minute drive home, the oyster plate, shrimp burger and onion ringswere terribly soggy and steamed up. Even after putting the food under the broiler, it was awful. This was my first time goingand was based on good reviews but I won?t go back and will not recommend Surfer?s Cafe.

I genuinely believe this was the best double cheeseburger I've ever tasted. I should have taken a picture of the fries and hushpuppies, but I devoured them too quickly! Keep up the fantastic work! I can't wait to order from here again.

After a wonderful day at Holden Beach, we were starving. We're so glad we discovered this restaurant. We'll definitely be returning! Thank you for the fantastic burger and New England clam chowder.

Surfers is the best restaurant in the area. I do wish they had a wider variety of menu items, but I understand that a single establishment can only offer so much. Everything they do have is delicious. The service is excellent, with friendly waitstaff and quick service.
